Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to a new year at Les Bois Junior High School! I am very excited to be teaching Spanish to your student. I am originally from Bend, Oregon. I received my bachelors in Spanish from Boise State University and my Masters in Teacher Education from Eastern Oregon University. Some of the countries I have studied in include: Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic and Cuba. I have also traveled in Mexico. I started teaching Spanish in the Boise School District in 2005.
As many of you may know, including cultural activities is an essential part of taking a foreign language. On a regular basis I will include bits of information from my experiences abroad. We will be learning about different religions, political figures and traditions.
