Meet Your Counselor

Welcome to Maple Grove Elementary. I have been a school counselor at Maple Grove since 2009 and love being part of such a wonderful community.  I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work in 1992 and my Master Arts Degree in Counseling 2007. I earned both degrees from Boise State University. 

I teach lessons in all of the classrooms, following the Boise School District counseling curriculum, which addresses both Idaho state Health Education Standards and ASCA Mindsets and Behaviors. I'm happy to answer any questions you have about the curriculum.

Additionally, I am available to help students with problem solving and skill building, both individually and in small groups. If your child has a particular need, please reach out to me, but please keep in mind that I am unable to do therapy in a school setting.
