Meet Your Counselor

I have been a school counselor since 2007 and have been at Longfellow since 2015. Being an elementary school counselor is the best job I can imagine. I teach lessons in all of the classrooms, following the Boise School District counseling curriculum, which addresses both Idaho state Health Education Standards and ASCA Mindsets and Behaviors. I'm happy to answer any questions you have about the curriculum.

Additionally, I am available to help students with problem solving and skill building, both individually and in small groups. If your child has a particular need, please reach out to me, but please keep in mind that I am unable to do therapy in a school setting. However, I am happy to provide you with a list of community resources as needed.
