Hi! I'm Alisha!
A little about me,
One of my first passions in life was cheer. I first started cheerleading in the 7th grade and instantly fell in love with it. Little did I know that it would lead me down a path that would bring me so many rewarding experience's, strong mentors and friendships and memories that have lasted a lifetime. I cheered through high school and college and was on a semi pro arena football dance team!
I first moved to Boise in 2007 to attend Boise State University and there I completed my Bachelors in Communications with a media production emphasis. I then went on to get my degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences from Weber State University. For the last 11 years I have worked in the Laboratory science field. I have been at my current position at Idaho Urologic Institute for the last 3 years.
When I am not working in the lab or coaching cheer, I am home being a momma to my 3 little loves, Hayes (7), Dean (4) and Josslyn (2). Being their mother in my greatest accomplishment and one that I get to share with my husband, Andrew who I have been married to for last 12 years.
As the new head coach of Les Bois cheer, I plan on bringing some new and exciting things to an already amazing program. My main goal as head coach is to create a SAFE and fun environment where everyone feels welcome. I want to give my athletes a rewarding experience that they will cherish forever while teaching them the foundational skills of cheer. I am so excited to get going and cant wait to see all the things we accomplish this year! Go Blazers!
