About Mrs. Thompson (teacher)

Raised on a farm in small town Utah, I've lived in Boise, ID since 2006. I love to learn. I attended USU where I received a B.S. and M.S. degree in Sociology. I earned another M.S. at BSU in Special Education and an endorsement in Earth and Space Science.  My love first love is rocks and sociology is the lense for understanding life. 

I have been teaching at Les Bois Junior High since 2016. 

My husband Matt is my adventure partner. We have 2 children. Harper is a 18 and Hank is an 10th grader Timberline.  We have a bird dog named Lulu and a cat named Geronimo

In my spare time, I like to run, mountain bike, climb, hike, paddle board, garden, or anything else that gets me outside.
