At Frank Church our National Honor Society strives to make the individual empowered, championed and well rounded. In addition to the goals we have aligned with National Level, at Frank Church we are striving to build a community within our school between staff and students through academics, mentorship, community planning and engagement.
Our staff and students over the years have developed a working relationship that is built on trust, admiration and hard work. Our students work hard to organize and plan events and volunteer opportunities that the entire school can benefit from. The staff, as a team, works to help put on these events and support the NHS students as needed.
Together we are building values and well rounded character traits among all students and not just those in NHS. In addition to building leadership skills and good values, we are able to serve the community at large and the community we have cultivated in our school.
National Honor Society (NHS) membership has been the true mark of student achievement for over 100 years, but it goes far beyond a report card. By empowering, championing, and recognizing well-rounded students, NHS provides schools with a values-based framework to elevate a culture of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
NHS chapters operate in all 50 states and many schools around the world, engaging and serving more than one million students.
