How to Apply?

After first semester of the students 8th grade year, invitations will be sent out to all students whose GPA meets the requirements of 3.75. At that time those students will be invited to attend an informational meeting and given a packet to complete. Once completed, the NJHS faculty council, comprised of staff appointed by the principal, will evaluate the applications and make decisions on acceptance based on the pillars of NJHS: Leadership, Character, Service, Scholarship and Citizenship.

Can my child still participate in service projects with NJHS members even though they are not a member?

Absolutely! Our goal is to empower youth to find a passion in giving back to their community and learn from these experiences.

How do I submit my service hours to my Adviser?

Please submit your hours through this NJHS website and visiting the Volunteer Opportunities page. After submitting your hours, please turn in your Service Hours Log to the adviser.
