Hello, I am Cortney Osborne, your student’s school counselor—I am looking forward to this new school year at Collister Elementary.  I desire for each child to develop to his/her full potential, becoming a confident, autonomous student!

This is my 14th year as an elementary school counselor and 10th year at Collister.  I love what I do!  I grew up in a small town in the Treasure Valley.  After attending college at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA, obtaining a B.A. in Child Development, I moved back to Idaho to study counseling.  I completed my M.S. in School Counseling at Northwest Nazarene University and love calling Boise home.  When not at school I enjoy traveling, cooking, snow skiing, biking on the Greenbelt and spending time with my family.

Every other week I am in your student’s classroom teaching guidance lessons on subjects such as academic success, personal and social success, safe choices, and future planning.  I am available for parent meetings, student meetings, and offer many group experiences that your student can be part of.
