I was born and raised here in Boise, Idaho! After graduating from Timberline High School in 2003, I attended the University of Washington where I had the immense privilege of playing basketball for former Boise State coach June Daugherty.
I graduated from The University of Washington in the spring of 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in General Biology.
I graduated with my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in May of 2012 from Northwest Nazarene University.
After completing my undergraduate degree, I played professional basketball in Horsens, Denmark. It was an amazing experience to be able to get paid to play the sport I love, and live in such an amazing country!
I have been teaching for 17 years, 10 of those being at Timberline High where I taught Accelerated Chemistry, General Chemistry, Sophomore Biology, and AVID 10. I am excited to be starting my 7th year in the Blazer Family where I will be teaching Biology and Pre AP Chemistry.
I am married to my best friend Patrick, and we have 8-year-old twins, Claire and Connor. In my spare time I mountain bike and ski and love spending time outdoors.
I am excited about the school year and love getting kids excited about learning!
