Coach Cochran is in his fourth year as head coach at Capital High School. The previous two years he spent in various roles in the program. Before Capital, Coach Cochran spent two years at Boise High School. After college Coach Cochran helped coach at UT Permian Basin for two years with catchers and hitters.
Coach Cochran and his wife Jamie were married in September of 2019. They live in Boise with their two dogs- Honey and Maple.

Coach Anderson started coaching baseball at Capital in 2024. Coach Anderson specializes in outfield instruction and team baserunning for Capital. Coach Anderson brings 13+ years of baseball coaching experience at all levels. Building relationships and player skill development brings Coach Anderson joy and he hopes to make a career in coaching.
A multi-sport coach, Coach Anderson brings a decade of football coaching experience and 5 years of high school basketball. Coach Anderson teaches beginning level Spanish courses at Capital and loves being a part of the Capital family.
Coach Anderson earned a Master's Degree concentrated in Athlete Development from Xavier University (Cincinnati, OH) and an additional Master's Degree individualized to Positive Coaching Psychology and Athletic Leadership from the University of Missouri . Additionally, Coach Anderson completed a specialization in Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.
Aside from coaching, Coach Anderson enjoys traveling, eating good food, and spending time with his wife and four children.

The Spring 2026 Season will be Coach Bowman's first on the Capital Baseball coaching staff. He will be working with the pitchers of the entire program, with a focus on the Varsity Club. Coach Bowman has 4+ years of coaching experience under his belt at the high school level to go along with his playing experience as a high school and collegiate athlete.
Coach Bowman played 4 years of college baseball at the College of Idaho in Caldwell, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with minor areas of study including Business, Philosophy, and History. Since graduating college, he has worked in the Boise School District first as a Special Needs Paraprofessional and now as a Math Teacher at Capital. Coach Bowman is excited to bring his knowledge and love of baseball to the program to help shape our athletes into great baseball players and citizens.

Coach Thunborg is currently in his first year as the Junior Varsity Pitching Coach and Catching Coach at Capital High School. He has spent the previous three seasons with the Capital baseball program as a volunteer coach with both the Junior Varsity and Varsity teams. In addition, he coached the Capital High School 16U team during the 2024–25 season. Coach Thunborg and his family moved to Idaho from Arizona in 2019 and currently reside in Boise with their dog, Posey.
