Claire Bonnet
Junior Varsity Head Coach
My name is Claire Bonnet, and I am excited to be the new head coach for the JV girls basketball team at Boise High! I am no stranger to the girls' basketball program here at BHS, as I played for Coach Brydges from 2015-2019 and grew up coming to camps. I went on to play college basketball at Willamette University in Salem, OR, from 2019-2023. My high school and college basketball experiences generated some of my fondest memories and inspired me to get into coaching. Most recently, I was the head girls' varsity basketball coach at North Star Charter School for the past two seasons. I am eager to take what I’ve learned from North Star and carry it over to this position at BHS. As a coach, I value fundamentals, work ethic, and sport-life balance. I could not be more excited to get started, go Brave!
Emma Anthony
Junior Varsity Assistant Coach
My name is Emma Anthony, and I am excited to be the JV assistant coach here at BHS. I played basketball at Mountain View High School, and then continued my playing career in college for a year at College of Idaho. I spent last season as an assistant coach at North Star Charter School, which was an overall great experience, and I am eager to bring what I learned there to Boise High. Basketball has played a major role in my life, shaping who I am and teaching me countless valuable lessons.
I am looking forward to working with the team this year and excited for a successful season ahead!
Grace Marvin
Sophomore Head Coach
Hi I’m Grace Marvin and I’ve taught Algebra 2 at Boise high for three years. Basketball has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I played throughout my childhood, including club teams and four years of varsity in high school. At Boise State, I continued playing on the club basketball team, and during my junior year, I had the opportunity to step into a new role as the JV assistant coach at Boise High. That experience gave me a whole new appreciation for the game from the sidelines, and I found a real passion for coaching. I'm excited to be back this year and to take on the role of coaching the sophomore team, ready to grow, compete, and help these athletes develop on and off the court.
Jeremy Cramer
Sophomore Assistant Coach
Jeremy Cramer was a track athlete at Arizona State University when he randomly went to a Phoenix Suns home game in 2004. The Suns were boring and mostly losing that year. One year later he went back and the Suns had picked up Mike D’Antoni and Steve Nash: now they were lighting up scoreboards with one of the best offenses in NBA history en route to a 62-20 record. Ever since then he’s been a basketball aficionado and an advocate for aggressive offense, teamwork, and innovation.
Just a few months after graduating from Arizona State in 2006, Jeremy wound up as the head coach of a boys varsity basketball team at a small international school in Indonesia, where his team won the district title his first year. Since then he’s coached at a variety of levels ranging from elementary to high school.
When Jeremy isn’t teaching math at Boise High, there’s a decent chance he’s shooting hoops with one of his five daughters, most (all?) of whom will probably play basketball at Boise High sometime between 2025 and 2041 (when his youngest graduates).
