8th grade tournament 

THREE AND FOUR TEAM POOLS 

All of this information will be covered in depth in the coaches meeting at 7:30 in the main gym (South location along 9th street)

Gyms will open at 7:15 for teams/coaches. 

There will be specific team areas for gear.

Pool play: CHANGE!  9/14: We now have one pool with four teams. This is going to change the format of the tournament. The four team pool will play 2 sets to 25, OR when the 45 minutes is up. 3 team pools are now going to be 2 to 25 with no cap, but no 3rd set, no time limit. 

 We will have four courts (2 in each gym). Bracket will look different with one 7 team gold division, and one 6 team silver division.  

Please remember to remind your families about entry cost. This is a program fundraiser. Thanks for your support!  $4 for adults $2 for children 6 and under.

*If we have a late registration for some reason this week, the schedule could change.  I will be using this document throughout the week for any changes to the schedule. Please just make sure your players are ready to go by 8am in case there is a schedule change. 

• First match teams will have 5-5-2 warm ups (five minutes on court for both teams, followed by 2 minutes shared serving). 

• Second match will be a 4-4-1. 

• ****Four team pools will have to get going right away.  

• Teams that are “reffing” we will need line judges.  The Boise High players will be officiating the matches and taking care of the scorebook/clock/libero tracking.
