Kia ū ki te pai, kia mau ki te tika, kia ita ki te pono
Uphold that which is good, hold on to what is right and hold fast to the truth
Kia ora, talofa, malo e lelei, hello. My name is Whaea Patsy Wynyard and I am very lucky to teach at Bay of Islands College. I was born in Kawakawa and attended local primary schools and Bay of Islands College. I trained as a teacher at Waikato University. I live locally and love our kura.
I have always enjoyed learning new things. I am thankful for life and love and the biggest challenge I face is TIME... there just isn't enough of it.
This year I would like to continue to develop my shared role as leader of our Māori Department so that we are able to offer the best of everything for our students, staff, whānau and kura community. Ka mau te wehi!
