Hi, I’m Jeannie Keefe and am excited to enter my 8th year of teaching at Boerne ISD.  I am happy to say that this is my second year at Herff Elementary teaching 3rd Dual. I have previously taught 3rd and 5th grade dual language at Kendall Elementary.  

I have been an educator for almost 20 years.  I  live in Boerne with my husband of 25 years.  I have three young adult daughters.  We also have a family cat named mason, but we call him fluff.   When not working, my family keeps me very busy.  I  enjoy reading, cooking, and hiking in the mountains and swimming in the sea.  I love traveling and attending BTS concerts!

I am  looking forward to a wonderful school year and being a vital part of this wonderful community.  

Hola, soy Jeannie Keefe y estoy emocionada de comenzar mi octavo año de enseñanza en Boerne ISD. Estoy feliz de decir que este es mi segundo año en Herff Elementary enseñando 3rd Dual. Previamente enseñé lenguaje dual de 3er y 5to grado en Kendall Elementary.

Soy docente desde hace casi 20 años. Vivo en Boerne con mi esposo de 25 años. Tengo tres hijas adultas jóvenes. También tenemos un gato familiar llamado mason, pero lo llamamos pelusa. Cuando no estoy trabajando, mi familia me mantiene muy ocupado. Disfruto leyendo, cocinando, caminando por las montañas y nadando en el mar.  Me encanta viajar y asistiendo conciertos de BTS! 

Espero tener un maravilloso año escolar y ser una parte vital de esta maravillosa comunidad.
