Written with my sister in 2021 as a conceptual thought-provoking piece about how everyone is simultaneously living nuanced lives outside of our own. My songwriting career originally began with the two of us writing together, and while I almost exclusively write alone now, we love being able to share music and jam with each other.
My sister and I wrote this song in 2020 for our newly born twin siblings as a surprise for our parents when they brought the babies home from the hospital. Written in 2020 after watching a collection of film footage of my parents from their wedding day. This was the first original I recorded, which I did using Garageband, and my excitement producing this piece inspired me to continue working on my technique. While it was one of my earliest full songs written, it is to this day one of my favorites.
