Students worked either independently or with a partner to develop a concept for a food truck business. They researched the food truck industry and used their imagination to come up with an enticing menu. Once their general idea was established, they created a logo and business plan. At the end of the project, they assembled a model of their food trucks and presented them to their peers.
Students were assigned a client and had to design a tiny house blueprint to meet their needs.
As an extension, students could assemble a mood board to better express the interior of their house.
All students created a model of their tiny houses and presented them to their peers.
Students began this project by learning about mazes around the world and plotted them on a Google Map. Then, they learned the process for designing unicursal and multicursal mazes.
During some school years, students turned their 2-dimensional maze drawing into a 3-dimensional maze.
