Step 3: Course Request Forms and scheduling process
All student learners will complete their course request form on February 17 and 18, 2026 during a modified school day schedule. Students will meet with their individual teachers to discuss classes for the following year and teachers will be signing off on the student requests. Copies of this form can only be found with your Advisory Teacher.
Step 4: Return of Course Request materials to Advisors
All course scheduling materials will remain on campus until the scheduling requests have been entered into our databases.
Step 5: Optional Course Waivers
Any student who wishes to take a course that they were not recommended for must fill out the below listed form no later than February 25, 2026 if they wish to waive into a course. No waiver applications will be accepted after that time. Please note that filling out the form does not guarantee that a student will be placed into the course.
Step 6: Schedules Released
Student schedules will be released prior to the start of new school year. Morgantown High School will alert families of how students can confirm their schedules via school messenger, social media, and our school website.
