ALL SENIORS: ****Please check with your Canvas and Counselors about graduation requirements and scholarship deadlines. All that Important information will be through the counseling office at your High School. It is your responsibility to meet the deadlines. ****

Spring (2nd) Semester Registration

• Registration Opens: CLOSED

• Registration Closes: CLOSED

• Orientation for New

 Virtual Students: CLOSED at the BOE Office Starting at 9:00 A.M.

• Second Semester Begins: January 8, 2026

• Progress Check: February 8, 2026; approx. (25%) completion of content/assignments

• Mid-term:  March 13, 2026 (for all high school and middle school CORE

classes, you should have about half (50%) of your content

completed/submitted).  Middle School related arts classes 

will last the entire year.

• Progress Check:   April 12, 2026; approx. (75%) completion of content/assignments

• Last Day of Class: May 12, 2026; All work (Segment 2) should be completed and submitted.

• Second Semester Ends: May 12, 2026 (subject to change if we encounter inclement

weather days.)  SENIORS:  Be aware that your school year 

ends earlier, and your grades will be due much sooner.

Mid-April, be sure to watch your email for more detailed

information and exact dates for when your grades will be

due.  In the past, senior grades have been due during the 

first week of May.

• Device Return: MAY 12-15, 2026, Between 12:30-4:00 in Office 4 Return Devices to the Jackson County Board of Education Office

• Grades: TBA Grades are Due to the Facilitator.

• ATTENTION: Virtual School Students Don’t forget to hop on the Canvas platform to SCHEDULE your classes for next year!

• JUNIORS: the SAT Day is TBA. If you have any questions about participation, please reach out to your school. Additionally, middle school students, make sure to contact your school to arrange participation in the GSA testing that is scheduled for MAY.

Middle School art, music and wellness/PE are all year long classes, and the dates for them are as follows:

• Beginning of Year is:

• WHERE: AT JACKSON COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION OFFICE 

Orientation will include Computer Check Out, Password and Username, Internet Security Form signed by guardian and student and completion of PEP Plan 

• First Semester Begins:

• Mid-term: TBA

• (For all high school and middle school classes [core classes only], you should have about half of your content completed/submitted).  Middle School related arts classes will last the entire year.

• First Semester Ends: TBA

•  All Grades Due to the County Facilitator: TBA

• MacBook must be returned if you are going back to the classroom by: TBA
