This course is an in-depth study of modern European history from the fall of Napoleon to today. Students will focus on the great wars and revolutions, ideologies, technological developments, and social movements that have shaped modern Europe. Students will use extensive primary sources and develop skill in analysis and synthesis in a teacher-directed environment.Prerequisites:

The purpose of this course is to provide an intensive study of Europe’s historical development from the Renaissance to today. It encourages students to work independently and in small groups while utilizing both the text and primary sources in a teacher-directed environment. This course is approved by the College Board and satisfies the graduation requirements of the State of Florida.Special Notes:
Students enrolled in this course are required to complete a Summer Assignment. Students in this course are required to take the Advanced Placement Exam; AP Exam fees will be processed through FACTS account.
