This introductory course will introduce the student to the theory and application of the marketing mix. Students will study the seven functions of marketing, economic utilities, market segmentation, target market analysis, pricing, branding, and logo design. The project based nature of this course will allow students to use their creativity to design using Canva while implementing marketing strategies. Student activities will include online marketing simulations to teach and reinforce concepts.Special Notes:
This class counts toward the Business Honor Society. This course is eligible for Dual Enrollment credit through Marymount University provided students meet the dual enrollment eligibility requirements.Prerequisites:

This advanced marketing course examines the business function of Marketing. Students will learn how marketers deliver value in satisfying customer needs and wants, determine which target markets the organization can best serve, and decide upon appropriate products, services, and programs to serve these markets. Topics include branding and product development, marketing research, promotion, supply chain management, visual merchandising, and service marketing.
