My name is Cara Henley and I am the English teacher on team Spartan 6. I am so thrilled to begin a new school year! Being a teacher is a gift and it's my goal to provide the best possible learning experience to my students. We will be learning a lot of content in 6th grade English- there are many reading and writing standards that we will master- however, the most important thing to know is that when you enter my classroom (whether in person or virtually), you are loved!

This is my 5th year teaching 6th grade English in Boardman. I am lucky to work here and I love my job! I graduated with my teaching degree from Youngstown State University and obtained my masters degree from American College of Education. I have a wonderful husband and an amazing son who will turn 2 in December. I enjoy reading, running, playing sports, and spending quality time with friends and family. I look forward to getting to know all of you this year!
