To the Class of 2021 (one more year!), we can't stress enough how proud of you we are! All of your hard work and dedication especially in this new environment does not go unnoticed. As your parents, you have taught us how to be resilient and compassionate. We can't wait to see you in September! Bravo! We <3 u!

In this time you have seen how quickly the world can change. How in a blink of an eye what you think of as normal day to day can transform into something else. You have been flexible. You have been resilient. You have adapted. You should be proud of yourselves. Remember to STAY FOCUSED and you will be able to go very far.
Love, Shakira, David and Noah (David's Family)
You guys did so great this year and especially during remote learning. I know how hard it is to do work with your parents or on your own instead of with your beloved teachers. The historical fiction writing saw a lot of growth in your writing and I know you all worked hard to complete them. You guys rock!
Amazing work!!! I'm so impressed with the creativity and ingenuity you illustrate on a daily basis. I love how you're all so willing to follow your curiosity and explore the world. My favorite part is when you share out about your adventures, what you've been building and what you've been finding out along the way. Thank you for working so hard 💪😊💕
Love, Kazandra (Delphine's Family)
You have all worked so hard all year and have overcome some very difficult circumstances this spring. I hope that you are all feeling proud of yourselves, because all of us parents certainly are!
Love, Madeline (Hannah's Family)
Great work 4th grade!! Each of you have worked so hard this year. You tried your best with everything even when things got a little rough. You're amazing!!
Love, Jarrit & Priscilla Sprinkle (Ny'ah Lee's Family)
During my time with you all (which was way too short!) I was consistently impressed by how hard you all worked to learn. I’m beyond proud of how hard you all continued to grow as learners by any means, especially during the last few weeks. You’re driven to learn by each other, by new ways of thinking and with the goal of making the world a better place. You’re an innovative bunch and a strong learning-team! I miss you all and am so proud of you!
Love, Kylie (Fall Student Teacher)
Congratulations, 4th graders, on an amazing job this year! Who could have imagined the challenges that 2020 would bring, and you all stepped up with grace, tenacity and humor. You are resilient and powerful kids and I can't wait to see what you do next year in 5th grade (!!!). Thank you for welcoming us so warmly into the BNS community.
Love, Lisa (Maya C's Family)
Amazing awesome super terrific hard work! Your journals are so amazing!
Love, Anne (Maya T’s Family)
Everyone has worked so hard and come so far since September. I'm thinking back to all the hours you put into exploring at the Wyckoff House, to the many journal chapters you've written and re-written, and so much more. I'm blown away by your perseverance (aka your stick-to-it-iveness) and have learned a lot just from watching you handle a very challenging year. Thank you for sharing it with us.

I am so proud of all of you. You have been resilient during remote learning. I've been impressed that you are still curious and ask a lot of questions. I enjoy witnessing the detail in your final projects. The maps look great.
Try to have fun this summer.

We are so proud of you! You rocked the Eastern Woodlands exhibit! Your journals of New Amsterdam are awesome! You learned and adapted to remote learning and now are zoom experts! You are witnesses to historic challenges and changes in a supportive classroom. BNS is lucky to have you and you are lucky to have BNS! Congratulations!

Dear Everyone - Congratulations on all your hard work this year! I was so moved by your poems at the Poetry Share, so impressed by all your projects at the Eastern Woodlands Museum, and blown away by your performances in the Musical. I know that you have all risen to the challenge of remote learning and I cannot wait to read your historical fiction journals and see your maps of New Amsterdam. I am predicting (with confidence) that they are AMAZING and REMARKABLE! I hope that you will be able to celebrate somehow - and then relax! You have earned it!
Love, Katherine (Theo's Family)
I've been so impressed with how well you all adjusted to keeping your school community going "remotely" this spring. You are amazing kids. You knew staying home was important but you also knew that you could keep your friendships strong. And look at all the impressive work you completed from home. I'm so proud of this class!
- Reyhan (Nilan's Family).
I cannot say enough about how impressed I have been with the amazing work I have seen all of the kids do throughout the year. The little details and nuanced understanding that I have seen has been truly inspiring. Even as so much has changed, it has been so impressive to see how the kids have kept at their work and continued to care for their community. I so look forward to the incredible work ahead from each and every one of you!
Love, Kris/Kalliope's Family

I am so proud of all the fourth graders! They all worked so hard during such extraordinary circumstances and were able to write beautiful stories and create amazing projects. These projects show a huge depth of knowledge and I’m so impressed by the details in their journals and the creativity in their maps. I didn’t know how the teachers and they students were going to pull this all together this year, but everyone did an amazing job! Everyone deserves to feel very proud of the work they created.

To all the amazing 4th graders in Zack and Kaelyn’s class! What an amazing job completing you journals. So exciting to be able to read all of them and understand all the characters living in New Amsterdam around the time of 1600, the start of our NYC.
Congratulations to all of you!
Love, Inbar (Yuli's Family)
I am so happy that I got to meet and work with you! I was impressed as I watched you learn and work this year, especially seeing how you worked in class and your dedication to your projects. I was very proud and excited about being able to teach you, and see how hard you worked and how you learned. I’m sorry that I was not able to continue working with you, but am so grateful that I got to work with you this year.
