5th grade

We have been drawing studies of the murals of Diego Rivera and Thomas Hart Benton. Both artists celebrated people at work. Previously we had been drawing portraits of each other then of ours selves. When we were at remote school we drew portraits of the heroic workers in our families. We hope to create plans for murals that celebrate the essential workers during these covid days.
