Integrating tiled data sources into the PyMca data analysis application.
Integrating tiled data sources into the PyMca data analysis application.
We are developing an extension of the PyMca data analysis app for browsing and analyzing Bluesky datasets. The work underway at NSLS-II is initially focused on enabling a PyMca user to discover and select Bluesky runs from a Tiled data server. By adapting the Tiled output to the data structures and workflows of PyMca, end users can leverage all the existing functionality of PyMca for viewing, processing, and comparing datasets and the search and remote access features of Tiled.
This project is being led at NSLS-II by the Scientific Data Analysis & Visualization group in coordination with partners in the Complex Scattering program and at other scientific user facilities, including BESSY II, DESY, and ESRF.
We are currently creating interactive screens to enable data plotting. These are the:
Bluesky catalog selection dialog
Data selection panel
A list of activities leading to this milestone is avaliable here.
Additional context for the project is provided on the History page.
