Welcome to our Fishing Team & Club Page!
Difference in Team and Club: Team members will compete in tournaments and must have a teammate committed to participate for the season, a sponsor and an approved boat that meets all liability requirements. If you are interested in being a team member, all anglers and parents must meet with Coach Gabe to go over all of the details. The club is for everyone who wishes to participate in fishing and learn more about the sport without having the commitment of traveling to tournaments. Team members are eligible to fish during PE times. All club members can attend meetings which are listed below on our schedule. On days that you see "Meetings" on the schedule, this is referring to club/team lessons led by our coaches or other guest speakers that may come by to teach our anglers new information.

League
We have been approved to join and compete in the Louisiana B.A.S.S. Nation Youth League. Tournaments go from Fall all the way to Spring, with a State Championship tournament for all who become eligible. For more information on the league, visit https://www.louisianahighschoolbassnation.com/
Requirements
Requirements
Any 7th-12th grade may join the fishing team. All participants must meet the following requirements below:
Form a two person team
Have a sponsor with an approved boat & insurance
Pay all fees including BNHS Athletic fee & B.A.S.S. Nation fees
Maintain required GPA stated in our CCAL & ACEL handbook of 2.0 and no U's on a report card.
