WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

What is Online Enrollment/Registration Verification?

Online Enrollment & Registration Verification allows parents and guardians of students in grades K-12 residing within the boundaries of the Beaumont Independent School District a quick and easy way to verify information for continuing/returning students and initiate enrollment of brand new students. Online registration will replace having to fill out thick volumes of registration forms at the start of the school year and will promote social distancing safety practicies in the wake of COVID-19. This process can be completed on a PC, tablet or smartphone browser.

Is online enrollment and/or registration optional?

Online enrollment/registration is critical to the health, safety, and success of all students. Online enrollment/registration ensures student informtation is accurate and serves as the primary gateway for parents/guardians to choose the preferred education model for their child: attending school in-person or receiving a virtual education. Other key pieces of information are also collected to assist the district with planning and proportioning education resources for our students.

My child attended a BISD school last year and nothing has changed. Do I still need to register online?

Yes. All parents/guardians must complete enrollment and/or annual registration verification. Parents/guardians of continuing and returning students complete registration verification to ensure all data on file is indeed correct and up-to-date including, contact information, health information and any student restrictions. This is also the platform to request the learning model you want for your student this fall. Remember, many times agencies depend on accurate school records to help determine your eligibility for benefits, incentives, assistance and other resources so it is important to have the most up-to-date information on file.
