A proud Iraq War combat veteran, devoted husband, father, and talented chef. As the Founder and Chief Perspective Officer at Combat News, he brings lived experience, strong advocacy, and a grounded perspective to the forefront of veteran-focused journalism.

In addition to his leadership at Combat News, he serves as a Veteran Peer-to-Peer Specialist, helping fellow veterans navigate the challenges of life after service through mentorship and support. He also co-hosts the Veterans Open Forum podcast with Bill Adams, airing Sundays at 19:00 on X.com (@sgtmitchell88), a nonpartisan platform by vets, for vets, and special guests focused on real issues that affect the military community.

Whether in the kitchen or on the mic, Sgt Mitchell is driven by service, connection, and purpose.

A proud Marine veteran and the founder of Combat News, a platform dedicated to informing and empowering the veteran community. With a lifelong commitment to service and advocacy, Bill uses his voice to spotlight the real issues veterans face, cutting through noise with integrity and purpose.

He also co-hosts the weekly Veterans Open Forum podcast alongside Sgt Mitchell, airing Sundays at 19:00 on X.com (@sgtmitchell88). The podcast is an open group held by vets, for vets and special guests, offering a nonpartisan, judgment-free space to discuss the issues that matter most to the military community. From policy to personal experiences, Bill remains focused on one mission: amplifying veteran voices and ensuring their needs are addressed with honesty and respect.
