With a background in physics, currently working on developing a low-field MRI scanner using permanent magnet arrays (PMA), focusing on improving the image quality. I am also engaged in development and application of MRI techniques to clinical data for enabling improved diagnostic precision.
I hold a background in Medical Imaging- Allied Health Sciences with a specialization in Magnetic Resonance Imaging. My work focuses on identifying clinical challenges and addressing them through protocol optimization and the development of imaging techniques to enhance diagnostic accuracy. I bridge the gap between clinical needs and technical implementation by collaborating closely with radiologists and cross-functional teams. My recent work involved body imaging applications, including MR lymphangiography and pancreatic relaxation mapping.
Research Focus
My current focus is on breast imaging and the role of susceptibility-weighted imaging (SWI) in detecting micro-calcifications in patients with breast cancer, to improve early detection and diagnostic accuracy.
