The AI, Automation, and Integration Engineer will be tasked with the following duties:
Cross-Departmental Automation: The successful candidate will systematically identify, prioritize, and automate operational functions and workflows across all departments, including but not limited to sales, marketing, finance, human resources, and customer support. This involves conducting thorough process analysis to identify automation opportunities and implementing solutions that deliver measurable business value.
Solution Design and Development: The role requires designing, developing, and deploying custom automation solutions using a combination of low-code/no-code platforms, programming languages, and AI technologies. The engineer will be responsible for creating scalable and maintainable automation architectures that can adapt to evolving business needs.
Integration Management: Building and maintaining robust integrations between various software systems and applications is a core responsibility. This ensures seamless data flow and process orchestration across the organization's technology stack, eliminating data silos and improving operational efficiency.
AI Model Implementation: The position involves integrating and fine-tuning AI and machine learning models to enhance automation capabilities, improve decision-making, and create intelligent workflows. This includes working with large language models and implementing AI-driven process optimization.
Prototyping and Iteration: The engineer will rapidly prototype and iterate on automation solutions, gathering feedback from stakeholders to ensure effectiveness and user adoption. This agile approach ensures that solutions meet real business needs and deliver tangible value.
System Optimization and Maintenance: Continuous monitoring, debugging, and refinement of automated systems is essential to ensure reliability, scalability, and optimal performance. The role includes implementing proper error handling, logging, and alerting mechanisms.
Evangelism and Training: Acting as an internal champion for automation and AI, the engineer will provide training and support to team members to foster a culture of innovation and efficiency. This includes creating documentation, conducting workshops, and mentoring colleagues.
Performance Measurement: Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact and ROI of automation initiatives is crucial for demonstrating business value and guiding future automation strategies.
We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following skills and expertise:
Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and data manipulation is essential. Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript for web-based automation and application development is highly valued.
Integration Platforms: Hands-on experience with integration and automation platforms such as n8n, Make.com, and UiPath is required.
AI and Machine Learning: Solid understanding of AI concepts, machine learning principles, and experience with LLM orchestration (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI APIs) is highly desirable.
API Integration: Demonstrated ability to work with and integrate various APIs (REST) and understanding of API security best practices.
Database Technologies: Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data management best practices, including data modeling and optimization.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components and develop innovative solutions.
Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across all organizational levels.
Project Management: Experience in managing automation projects from conception to completion, including stakeholder management and change management processes.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar role, such as Automation Engineer, Integration Engineer, AI Engineer, or RPA Developer. Experience in enterprise environments with complex system integrations is preferred.
Additional qualifications that would strengthen a candidate's application include experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools, and understanding of cybersecurity principles in automation contexts.
