Hello, My name is Liberty Seiter! I am a Sophomore and I love photography. I had dabbled into it when I was younger but my love for it took off this year when I took the Digital Imaging course at Blue Valley West. I took my camera home almost every day and started entering contests. My first contest was a local one and I received an Honorable Mention. Then I did multiple photoshoots to prepare for the Scholastic Arts and Writing National and Regional Contest. I received 3 honorable mentions and one Silver Key award. On top of art contest photography, I love taking family, couples, individual portraits, landscapes, travel, wildlife, architecture, and pretty much everything else I find beautiful! That being said, I had no experience with film cameras and have enjoyed trying even though it is very different from digital photography. My style for black and white photography is nostalgic, old, and almost rustic looking. I also love dramatic contrast photos as you will see in a bit! My favorite part of this class is the alternate processes! I really enjoyed the toning projects and painting/spraying on the developer.
