My work is focused on simple, everyday moments. I focused on things that I love, such as my hobbies and family, or things that I thought looked aesthetically pleasing. Shooting pictures through the film camera and slowly, carefully developing the photos encouraged me to slow down and think about each photo. I usually prefer color in photos, but the black and white photos made me focus on aspects like lighting and background that I hadn't considered before.
