The art of Joseph Kleinmann
The art of Joseph Kleinmann
Art to me is a trial. Some Days it's easy, some days it's hard. My style of photography is where I find something I like I move around it, adjust it, then take a photo. I like to personally take photos of stuff that has meaning to me or played a role in my life.
This is a version of my light as a subject photo. When redoing it I thought that it would be funny if I drew little guys spinning around on it. I decided to add a little smiling face in the corner. The title of it is a direct reference to the fan being able to spin and the men preparing for it.
Tis was also a burned negative which I turned the little spots into bubbles and put Spongebob in the place of the mailbox. I had a lot of fun coloring with this and I got extra credit from this so it helped me keep my grades up in this class.
This bench has the most backstory in it since it was in my favorites roll. The reason why it was one of my favorites is because whenever my parents started arguing with my sister they told me to leave the house so I ran down to the park since nobody ever went there and sat at this bench every time waiting for my parents to tell me that I could go back to the house. Overall this holds a lot of memories.
This was the first roll I took outside of school and it was a classic since I had to ask a neighbors permission to take a photo of this. Fun fact I never actually identified the plant here even though I took Field BIology.
This was my first alternative process using the eyedropper. The alternative developer processes were my personal favorite ones to do since they were so fun. Overall a pretty good photo in my opinion.
These were my other two alternative processes using the same photo from the first one. This time I used the brush and the spray bottle out of all three the spray bottle was my favorite to use. Overall they were pretty fun to make.
This was my coloring alternative process. I decided to color the shirt since it was already colorful. This was personally one of my favorites that I did since I had so much fun coloring it in using the oil paints. I remember that I gave it to the teacher when canvas was down.
This was the first ever print that we all did I took most of the CD's because it looked good when I imagined it. I remember when I made this I accidentally dropped the tongs in the developer it was funny.
This was my sandwich alternative process. I combined a landscape shot of a street and an image of a flower bed that I took for my nature shots. The hardest part of this was figuring out the time for the photo to print it. Overall it's a very good print.
This is the second half of my burned negative photo. The reason why I gave it this title is since it reminds me of when you think of an image in your head it comes out weird. This was one of the first prints that I got an 18/18 for.
