Artist Statement: I enjoy taking photos of places and things that you might see every day but are quickly forgotten. I like shots that show buildings or areas that seem familiar, but you can't quite tell where you are, and the picture still feels familiar enough. I like shots that feel like a foggy memory or a forgotten memory you had when you were younger. Just any shots that show familiarity while still making you question the story behind the shot. Anything that is out of sight and out of mind interests me. To be honest, I don't think I managed to capture the fogginess feeling in all of my shots, but they still seemed interesting to me. I don't think photography is really for me, but I still enjoyed this class and learning about all the different processes.
