Independent Reading
Throughout the year, students will be required to read independently. Students will have the opportunity to visit the Media Center during class and will have some class time to read, but reading should also be done in Academic Assist or outside of school.
Students will be required to complete independent reading and independent reading activities. Those can be found by scrolling down on this page.

Media Center Prize:
To earn the Media Center Prize students must complete and turn in three reaction forms.
The first two are required and will be a grade first semester.
The third reaction form can be done at anytime during the school year.

Media Center Prize:
If you read two books for the first semester independent reading, you may read and complete the fiction form for this book (January/Feburary) to earn your Media Center prize.
This will give you 10 extra credit points, and will get you your Media Center prize.
