This site is an overlook with breathtaking views of the beach, a state nature reserve and the bay. Easily accessible with on street parking in a nearby residential neighborhood, this site does require a permit.
Gorgeous and semi-private overlook of the Pacific with a winding (easy) path perfect for making an entrance. Thie site sits just above a beach, and you can be married at this site for a cliff-like venue or descend the steps to get married on the beach.
What we love about this site:
Incredible overlook views of the Pacific Ocean.
The walk to the site is short (less than 5 minutes).
Dogs okay on a leash.
Potential drawbacks of this site
Parking is very limited.
Little ones will need to be watched carefully as there are no barriers at the edge of the cliffs.
Accessibility
Parking: 3-4 spaces available at the entrance to the area. Some off-street parking nearby.
Access from parking: accessible for most. The walk from parking is over concrete and then a mostly even dirt path.
Additional Logistics
Dogs: allowed on a leash.
Bathrooms: none.
Suitable for children: not small children. There are many areas here that do not have a protective barrier on the edge of the cliffs.
Max vehicles accommodated: up to four (4) cars total. If you have guests, we strongly recommend carpooling.
Max number of guests at this site: 10.

The site requires a micro-wedding permit of $175 and we will add the cost to your package and obtain a permit for you.
The following days increase the micro-wedding permit fee by $125 ($300 total):

7-21 guests - The site requires a 1-hour permit of $450 and we will add the cost to your package and obtain a permit for you.
22-30 guests - The site requires a 2-hour permit of $550 and we will add the cost to your package and obtain a permit for you. (Reminder: we do not do weddings with more than 30 guests.)
Event insurance is required, but you can be covered under our umbrella policy at no additional charge. In most cases, Blue Sky Elopements will also cover the refundable event deposit charged by the state of California.
