US/AZ History B Final Project Options
When submitting your final project, if submitted with a link, please copy and paste said link into a word document or google doc and submit into edgenuity.
Additionally, make sure that your permissions are set to share with anyone with the link to your assignment.
As an alternative to the cumulative exam, you may also do a “cumulative project.” Please see below for the options you have for this project.
The goal of this project will be to demonstrate knowledge of United States History from 1900 through the present day. You will be able to pick one of five themes for your presentation.
From each Unit, choose one significant event. (6 events total)
Summarize
what happened
who was involved
where geographically it occurred
when it happened
What was the significance of it happening in that location at that time? What was the geographical significance? What was the political significance? What was the economic significance? What was the social significance?
What is the significance of that event in our world today? What is the geographical significance today? What is the political significance today? What is the economic significance today? What is the social significance today?

What format should be used? You have a few options for that as well:
Option 1:
Create a Prezi (prezi.com) presentation of at least 3 slides per event. Make sure each slide contains an appropriate and topical picture/graphic. Make sure you have one short paragraph 3-5 sentences of text on each slide.
Option 2:
Create a Visme (visme.com) presentation of at least three slides per event. Be sure to include at least 2 pieces of multimedia (video or audio clip-no more than 5 minutes long). Make sure to have one short paragraph of 3-5 sentences on each slide.
Option 3:
Create a Google Slides presentation of at least three slides per event. Be sure to include several examples of multimedia, photos, videos, etc. Make sure to have one short paragraph of 3-4 sentences on each slide.
Option 4:
Create a short 3-5 minute documentary or podcast about each of the five events. Please consult me in regards to this option. Possible video editing programs here: https://www.oberlo.com/blog/best-free-video-editing-software
Option 5:
Write a research paper covering each of your five events. (5-10 pages)
