FAQs
Which communication tool should I use?
Gmail is best for asking questions about assignments and course activities and sharing documents.
ParentSquare is useful for sending direct messages to your teacher if Gmail is not an option. The direct messaging is monitored for safety and works similarly to texting.
Skyward has a My Messages center where you can access communications from your teacher about confidential information such as your grades. You can reply to these messages if needed. However, if you wish to initiate a communication, use your Gmail or ParentSquare direct message.
Phone calls to your campus during regular business hours are for more immediate assistance.
Who do I contact if my technology is not working?
If you need a password reset, have connection issues, cannot access software such as Skyward, Google, BrightThinker, and ParentSquare, or your Chromebook is physically broken, please contact your instructor so that a help ticket can be submitted on your behalf.
How do I find my Chromebook name?
The Model, Serial Number and RES Asset Tag Number are located on the bottom of the Chromebook.
What is a 2-Step Verification?
2-step verification is a security measure to help protect your accounts. If you need assistance setting this up, contact your instructor to have a help ticket submitted on your behalf.
