Do the FAFSA Nebraska Scholarship - This scholarship will provide 60 $1,000 non-renewable scholarships for Nebraska high school seniors to attend a Nebraska college or university. Applicants must complete their 2026-27 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and a short scholarship application. If selected, the funds may be used for tuition, fees, books/supplies, living expenses, or transportation costs. First drawing: Dec 5th, second drawing, April 15th.
The Engler Scholarship Program - The Engler scholarship program is designed to empower enterprise builders. Approximately 200 students at UNL are pursuing development of their entrepreneurial skills and capacity in the program. In 2024-25, 90 students earned Engler scholarships totaling about $175,000. The scholarship awards range from $1,000 to $4,000 for an academic year with students eligible to reapply each year of their undergraduate career. Avacare Medical - The AvaCare Medical Scholarship recognizes those who are working to better the lives of our customers, students who are pursuing a degree in the medical field, with a prize of $1000 toward college tuition. Bill Lewis Scholarship - The Nebraska High School Officials Association will be awarding two $5,000 Bill Lewis Scholarships in the Spring of 2026. Intended to provide financial assistance for the education of students who participated annually in two or more NSAA sanctioned activities. The recipients and their parents will be presented with the scholarship award at the NSAA State Boys Basketball tournament. Little Blue River Chapter (Hastings) Pheasants Forever Scholarship - For seniors majoring in wildlife biology or a related field. Students must be a resident of Adams County. This is a one-time $1,000 scholarship. Please see Mrs. Kliewer for an application. Due January 29, 2025
Nebraska Corn Growers Association - The NeCGA Future Leaders in Ag Scholarship Program (FLAGship Program) is open to Nebraska high school seniors or college freshmen who are continuing their education in state. The FLAGship Program is a scholarship program for future ag leaders in Nebraska. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be a member of NeCGA or the son/daughter of an NeCGA member. Due 1/31/25.
South Central Cattlemen Scholarship - The South Central Cattlemen will award up to $3,500 worth of scholarships to 2025 graduating seniors. Applicants must be pursuing a degree at a 2-4 year accredited institution, preferably in an ag-related field, however all majors will be accepted and considered. Applications are due 2/1/25. Livestock Marketing Association - The purpose of this program is to provide a one-time scholarship to qualified applicants who are interested in or display knowledge or understanding of the importance of the agriculture industry and its supporting entities, as well as plan to use their career to advocate for the advancement of the livestock marketing industry. Nebraska Public Leadership Foundation - $1,000 Scholarship awarded to a Nebraska senior with plans to attend a Nebraska college or university, with an interest in education, whose school district is a member of the Nebraska Association of School Boards, and has a 3.0 minimum GPA. Adams/Webster County Farm Bureau Scholarship - All students are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those pursuing a career in agriculture. Deadline 3/1/25.

The Little Blue Natural Resources District - The Little Blue Natural Resources District will offer three $500 scholarships to qualified students that reside within the Little Blue Natural Resources District. The student must be attending a two-year or four-year college, majoring in a conservation or environmental field, academically in good standing, and live in the district. The Lincoln Community Foundation - The Lincoln Community Foundation administers more than 90 different scholarship funds - many of which are for students who live outside of Lincoln/Lancaster County. All Nebraska students are encouraged to visit the site. Almost $600,000 will be offered to more than 300 students! You will use this link, click "Sign Up" to create a User ID by supplying your email address as your username, and a password. Once logged in, applicants will have access to the online general application form. Based on the information provided in the general application, you are automatically matched to scholarships for which you are fully eligible. Some scholarships will require additional information. Nebraska Society of Mayflower Descendants - Scholarship applications will be accepted beginning January 1, 2024 and will close March 31, 2024. Applicants must be a high school senior planning on attending an accredited 4-year college or university, be a resident of Nebraska and a US Citizen, and must complete the assigned essay and citations of research. Mayflower Ancestry is NOT a requirement.
Nebraska Actuaries Club - Applicants must be entering a college or university as a freshman in the fall of 2024. Each scholarship is open to students graduating from any U.S. high school. Students must major in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Economics with an interest in pursuing an actuarial career. All applicants must have demonstrated mathematical ability and evidence of some understanding of the actuarial field. Due 3/31/25.
