Grief can leave you feeling like you are carrying something too complex to put into words. You may be grieving a sudden or traumatic death, adjusting to a life-altering diagnosis, or wondering why you are still hurting when society expects you to move forward. Grief rarely fits neatly into stages or timelines. It affects your body, your nervous system, your relationships, and your fundamental sense of safety. When trauma and loss intersect, it can be overwhelming to identify what you need.
I offer a gentle, down to earth, somatically attuned, empathetic, and trauma informed space for the losses society often turns away from. My philosophy is rooted in the belief that grief does not need to be rushed, fixed, or overcome. We will pay attention not only to your story, but to how grief lives in your body and nervous system. I don't believe in treating clients like they're breakable or fragile. I offer a real, human space where nothing is off-limits. We will hold space for the heaviest parts of this process, including dissociation, rage, deep sadness, suicidal thoughts, and relief, while leaving the door open for unexpected joy and humor.
There is no timeline you have to follow and no right way to grieve. Together, we will make room for whatever is here, helping you find ways to carry and integrate your experience that feel more possible, grounded, and true to you while working to eventually reopen your life to genuine connection, purpose, and joy.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background in hospice care and complex trauma, my practice is rooted in providing care through life’s most unimaginable losses. I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), Complicated Grief Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care to create an inclusive, approachable, and compassionate environment where every part of your experience is honored, especially the parts we often feel we need to keep hidden.
I hold specialized experience supporting individuals through sudden and traumatic losses, including the death of a child, suicide, homicide, and fatal addiction. I also work extensively with anticipatory grief, non-death losses and disability resulting from traumatic medical events, such as strokes, cancer, brain injuries, or sudden accidents, as well as individuals navigating their own end-of-life transition.
I offer fee-for-service, sliding-scale telehealth therapy across the state of Maryland. Outside of my work, I am grounded by reading, trying new foods, strength training, tending to my ever growing plant collection, traveling, spending time with my husband and friends, and walks with my silly pittie, Kobe.

I recognize that clients have different financial circumstances. Several ongoing session rates are available, and clients are invited to select the highest rate they can comfortably and sustainably afford.
