The Blue Chip Consortium, LLC is an organization of established, professional employee benefit firms, providing brokerage and consulting services to employers in the Midwest. Founded in 1997 for the sole purpose of maximizing the value that our member firms could provide to their clients. We believe that the clients are best serviced by independent brokers and consultants, who can provide unbiased advice. Our unique "corporate partnership" structure allows us to provide the resources of a large organization, without losing the inherent advantages of low cost, personal service and flexibility, of smaller local firms.
The Blue Chip Consortium, LLC is committed to supporting our member firms, so they, in turn, can provide the highest level of service to their clients. Specifically, we provide the following advantages to our member firms:
- Combined negotiating strength with insurance carriers and administration companies. This concentrates the collective weight of the organization on achieving the lowest rates and best possible service for each client (similar to a purchasing cooperative).
- Shared resources and cost sharing (administration, market knowledge and expertise, errors & omissions coverage, etc.) which allows members to operate efficiently and with a lower cost structure.
- Assures continuous service to clients, in the event of a catastrophic or disruptive event affecting the member firm (i.e. death, disability, incapacity of a principal).
- Full autonomy of member firms, to take whatever action, or render whatever advice is in the best interest of the client.
