The Black River Band program is dedicated to fostering a lifelong passion for music and the arts by providing a life changing music education experience for the students of Black River Local Schools. The BR Bands are include the HS Concert Band, Pirate Marching Band, Jazz Band, 7th & 8th Gr. Symphonic Band, and 6th gr. beginning band. Collectively the band program delivers upwards of 50 performances a year. Performances include parades, football games, marching band competitions, concert band concerts, solo and ensemble contests, pep band games, jazz night, and so much more.  Both the HS Concert Band and MS Symphonic Band have consistently earned SUPERIOR ratings at OMEA Adjudicated events.
