BMS offers two alternative program classes. Alternative program classes are classes that you must apply for or be placed into, that are different from the regular classes.
You will have one or two teachers that are responsible for all 8 subjects. Alternative programs will help our students who may have extra needs or would like an extra challenge! Looking to contact the program director of an alternative program? Check out our staff directory.
The Special Education program is for those students who may have some sort of physical or mental impediment that affects their ability to learn in the normal classroom environment.
Students in the Special Education program will learn in a specialized classroom, taught by our highly trained and qualified teaching staff. You'll be with one or two teachers for all seven of your subjects throughout the day, your teachers are senior staff members who have demonstrated exceptional skill.
Think you'd benefit from the Special Education program? You'll have to submit an application. Your request will be reviewed by our Special Education director and a decision will be made within 24-48 hours.
Are you a student who's looking for a more intensive academic experience? Looking for a greater challenge than our regular C1-3 program? The honors program is perfect for you! You'll be able to join a specialized class with other students in this program.
You'll be taught by one or two specialized teaching faculty, who are highly qualified in the subject material they are teaching and will be able to provide a more intensive, challenging experience. You'll also be able to make new friends with other like-minded students in the honors program, as you'll have your own private classroom!
