I hope you all had a wonderful summer. I'm so excited to be your Math Teacher this school year! I can't wait to meet you and get to know you, if you are a sixth grader. And, I can't wait to see you and catch up, if you are one of my returning 7th or 8th graders. I can't wait to get to work and make Math fun for you this year! - Ms. H
<---Ms. H and Mrs. Patterson (our wonderful teaching assistant) are ready to get this school year started!
First Week of School Info & Notes
This week we will have some fun activities to do to help us get to know each other. We will spend some time reviewing classroom and school expectations and setting up our online programs. We will do a bit of review and talk about what you want to achieve this school year. No worries...we are a team and we will work together to make sure you make progress and achieve your goals!
What Do I Need to Bring
Once you have it, you will need to bring your Chromebook to class (charged and ready) for days when we use our online curriculum. You will have a Math workbook that will stay in my classroom for daily lessons (homework pages will be completed together in class or torn out, if necessary). You will need a pencil, but if you forget don't worry, we have plenty. All you really need for my class is a good attitude and a little determination. We will work together on everything else.
What Do I Need to Do
All you need to do is come to class ready to learn. Bring a good attitude and a little determination and you will do great! It's going to be a fun year and you are going to learn and grow so much! I'm so happy that I get to be a part of your life and I can't wait to watch you succeed! This year's theme at ECCA is "Royals At Work," so lets show the world what we can do!
