I am thrilled to join the faculty at Eagleton as a high school math teacher. This role represents a meaningful, later-in-life career shift into education—one that feels like a true calling for me. Incidentally, I completed my student teaching in high school chemistry & biology classes at ECCA under the mentorship of Coach Ian Britton this past spring.
In my professional life before joining the Royals, I served as a Combat Attack Helicopter (AH-64) Pilot in the U.S. Army from 1987 to 1994 and later built successful careers in pharmaceutical sales and as a Certified Financial Planner®.
I have been with my wife, Jen for 19 years... married for 15. She is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at the University of Tennessee. We are active members of Fairview Methodist Church, where Jen sings in the choir and I teach 2nd through 5th grade Sunday School. We have two beautiful daughters: Olivia, a rising 9th grader and coxswain with the TriStar Rowing Team; and Reagan, an 8th grader recently selected to join the Maryville High School Marching Band.
I am very excited to serve the students and families of ECCA and look I forward to a fantastic school year ahead.
