What Is SAE?
An SAE or Supervised Agricultural Experience, is part of the Agricultural Education Model. Each student enrolled in an Agricultural Education course is required to have an SAE. Students with established SAEs have the opportunity to expand and grow their SAE and receive regional, state, and national recognition through the National FFA Organization. Students who are just starting out with an SAE will begin by exploring agricultural career areas that interest them with a Foundational SAE. Agriculture accounts for 45% of businesses In America and isn't just about traditional production agriculture (farming). Students in agricultural classes will explore the limitless opportunities for them in agriculture through Classroom Instruction, FFA and SAE!
