Jon Kovey
Mr. Kovey has moved into the educational field after a career in the private sector. He came to Tennessee in 2016 to pursue a passion for youth education. He taught as an Interpretive Park Ranger at The Great Smoky Mountains National Park before he decided to make the move to become a classroom teacher. He has worked with Eagleton for 10 years as the school's Robotics Team coach, a Crown Academy mentor, and now as a teacher. Prior to teaching, he owned and operated multiple companies in Indianapolis. In total he has helped 13 different companies start from scratch, including landscaping, manufacturing, construction, engineering, and ministry. He currently owns MowerWorx, an equipment repair shop in Maryville.

He and his wife Megan are both local teachers who are passionate about helping students reach their fullest potential. They are avid National Park enthusiasts and enjoy traveling to different parks across the country.
