This is my ninth year in the Bloomsburg Area School District, and I'm very happy to be the librarian for the W.W. Evans and Beaver-Main libraries. This allows me to combine my loves of teaching, spending time with kids, reading and technology, which makes my job an adventure every day!
Prior to moving to BASD, I taught in the Southern Columbia Area School District for 18 years, with the last eight as its librarian. My husband is the librarian at the Bloomsburg Secondary Complex, my daughter is a senior at Bloomsburg University, studying nursing, and my son is a sophomore at Penn State studying Professional Photography and Photojournalism. I graduated from Penn State University and earned master's degrees from Wilkes University and Mansfield University.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and our two cats, reading, crocheting, walking, hiking, and camping. I completed numerous obstacle course races and sprint triathlons in the past, but my body has decided I am too old for that! I am also a weekly volunteer and Board member at the Bloomsburg Food Cupboard and enjoy singing and playing the piano,
