I have lived in Bloomsburg, PA for twenty years. I am originally from Florida and have also lived in California, Montana, Idaho, Mississippi, and Kentucky! My husband, John, is a Professor of Geography and Dean of the Honors College at Commonwealth University. We have three children. Lyell graduated from Temple University and is a 3D artist and projection designer in Brooklyn, Claire graduated from Hollins University and is a river guide in Oregon, and Theo is currently attending Bloomsburg University and working at The Links where he gets to play golf everyday. I love reading, writing, art, taking pictures, gardening, and knitting. I also enjoy going to the beach, kayaking, hiking, camping, and playing board games. Prior to teaching 10-11th grade English and Creative Writing at BHS, I taught 6th and 7th grade Language Arts at BMS, 7th grade Creative Writing, and 9th and 10th grade English in Idaho. I am also the advisor of the Creative Writing Club/Prometheus and was one of two advisors for the Class of 2025.
