My name is Joseph Milano and I am a resource teacher at Watsessing School. I have been teaching for 14 years in the Bloomfield School District. I have also taught special education at the high school level. At the early stage of my career, I was employed as a paraprofessional at Bloomfield Middle School and High School. I hold a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business Administration from Caldwell University and a Master's Degree in Education and Teaching from Montclair State University. In addition, I also hold a New Jersey supervisor certificate. I love school and always taking a class. Continuing my education is very important to my professional life. In addition to teaching, I own a mobile entertainment business based in Bloomfield. I have been Deejaying for over 20 years. You've probably heard me emceeing our school events throughout the year. Music is a passion of mine and I enjoy sharing this and the technology involved with my students. The students view me through different lenses and I believe that is very important. By the way, I am a "Bloomfield Kid" as well. I grew up in town and attended Franklin School for grades K-6. I am also very active within the community. I believe it is very important to maintain involvement within the school and Bloomfield Township community. Education never ends, it keeps growing and evolving in all aspects of life.
