Reading Levels Letters

Welcome to Reader's Workshop!

During reader's workshop students will begin to think out of the box and pull information from their schema.

Our Second Grade teachers have prepared you (students) with a great foundation and now we will use all that prior knowledge to increase their thinking and develop skills to enhance their reading.

In addition, to reader's workshop, students will participate in whole class read alouds, and take TCAs throughout the year to determine his/her reading level.

​

Finally, students are expected to read fiction and non fiction books.
